Dr. Jeremy Servantez grew up in Iowa and attended Iowa State University for both his undergraduate and veterinary education. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Servantez went on to complete an equine veterinary internship at Idaho Equine Hospital in Nampa, Idaho where he received specialized training in internal medicine, sports medicine, and reproduction. Following his internship Dr. Servantez worked at an equine clinic in Iowa for 5 years and furthered his education with the University of Tennessee and the Orthopedic Research Center at Colorado State University. Dr. Servantez received is certification as an equine rehabilitation practitioner which has allowed him to incorporate a variety of non-invasive therapeutic techniques to improve his patient’s quality of movement while offering non-traditional pain management methods. His primary interests include sports medicine rehab, general medicine and gastrointestinal health. In his off-time, Dr. Servantez enjoys riding his horse Piper, hiking, camping, and kayaking.
Dr. Servantez is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians, and of the Iowa Veterinary Medical Association.
